Services are tailored to the needs of the family
Pre-College Planning: Beginning in the 9th grade, Jill reviews and recommends high school courses, extra-curricular activities, community service and passion projects, summer internships, study abroad, and work experience.
College Identification and Selection: Jill assists with identifying appropriate colleges and universities, which best fit the student’s goals and interests and help evaluate admission and financial aid offers.
College Application Process: Jill assists with all aspects of the admission process, including guidance on essays, testing, teacher recommendations, scholarship applications, community service and activity resumes, and practice interviews.
Jill develops a game plan for admission, honors college, and merit scholarship applications and then motivates and holds students accountable through completion of the application process.
Jill keeps parents apprised by sending updates after each session and invites parents’ questions and comments throughout the process so that everyone is up to speed on the progress at all stages.
Explore Majors and Careers: By using interest assessments and other tools that help match interests and strengths to potential majors and careers, students may become more motivated in high school and better prepared to identify the right college and university and the right course of study.
Graduate school and career preparation: Jill works with college students and college graduates on graduate school applications, career exploration, resume preparation, and guidance for the job search and interviews.
